Sustainable Operations

To advance sustainability initiatives, Uni-President Asset Management established a sustainability development task force chaired by the general manager, with senior leaders from each unit forming the Corporate Governance, Environmental Sustainability, and Social Care groups.

Beginning in 2023, we established sustainability policies around four principles: developing a sustainable environment, promoting shared social prosperity, implementing corporate governance, and strengthening sustainability disclosure. In line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we set short-, medium-, and long-term targets, track progress quarterly, and report to the Board.

    Uni-President Asset Management focuses on asset management and follows the Stewardship Principles for Institutional Investors. Each year, we disclose our stewardship report on our website, including ESG integration in investment and risk assessments, engagement with investee companies, and participation and voting at their shareholder meetings, to protect client interests and pursue beneficiaries' best interests.
